FIRE-RATED GLASS
Wired glass is produced by carefully embedding wire mesh or metal wires into glass.
On exposure to fire the glass fractures but is held in one piece by the wire mesh, thus maintaining integrity by preventing collapse, & the passage of smoke & flames. The use of these glasses can also act as a deterrent to potential intruders.
